Antidoping Switzerland points to the fact that the importation of DHEA is prohibited in accordance with the Sports Promotion Act (SpoPA). This law applies to all citizens, irrespective of sporting activity, i.e. it also covers non-athletes. Consignments containing products with DHEA are being seized by customs increasingly often, despite the import ban.
