The Sports Parliament approved the new Doping Statute of Swiss Olympic, which comes into force on January 1, 2021. The Doping Statute and its Regulatory Statutes are binding on all federations affiliated to Swiss Olympic.

The members of the Sports Parliament of Swiss Olympic have elected the Foundation Board of Antidoping Switzerland for the new term of office.

The founding president Corinne Schmidhauser as well as several other members of the Foundation Board of Antidoping Switzerland reach the end of their term of office and resign from the Board.

Antidoping Switzerland points to the fact that the importation of DHEA is prohibited in accordance with the Sports Promotion Act (SpoPA). Consignments containing products with DHEA are being seized by customs increasingly often, despite the import ban.

Follow-up analyses of doping samples are an important tool in the fight against doping. At the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020, Antidoping Switzerland for the first time conducted follow-up analyses on samples that had been in storage for long periods.

2019 targets achieved – expansion of investigation activities planned. The 2019 business year of Antidoping Switzerland was marked by continuity. Antidoping Switzerland was able to meet or exceed its annual targets. In the current year, priority will be given to expanding investigative activities.

Within the framework of the international week of action "PANGEA XIII", Antidoping Switzerland participated in the control of international consignments and supported Swissmedic and the Swiss Federal Customs Administration (FCA). Consignments containing doping substances were also seized.
