At the end of April 2025, the Reporting Office for Ethics Violations and Abuses in Swiss Sport received a number of reports about the behavior of fencers at an awards ceremony. Swiss Sport Integrity then launched an investigation. The athletes concerned were given the opportunity to comment on the facts.
